Swiss watchmakers since XVII century, were farmers working on watches only during Autumn and Winter. Even industries used to have workers inside and people working in their own houses. First law in 1877 stated rules: how many hours (11 or 1o by day with an hour for lunch), the age of workers (at least 14 years); their dresses and so on.
