Giovani talenti AHCI e F.P.Journe

Per il secondo anno F.P.Journe, membro AHCI dal 1967, ha affiancato l’Accademia degli orologiai creatori indipendenti alla premiazione della Young Talent Competition, che ha visto molti dei presenti porre domande a Journe e a Stefano Cristofari, Direttore in Italia dei negozi GMT.

For the second time F.P.Journe was partner with AHCI during Young Talent Competition; three  Maitres Horloger from UK, France and Russia got a diploma and a cheque offered by Horotec in order to buy professional instruments. During the ceremony many questions about life being independent. soloPolso asked how long could it be a correct business-plan and Journe’s answer was really full of  english humor even if the Master was born in France; he said “Well, I should think 5 years, but correcting values every 6 months, or better, shall we do, three?!”

100° Targa Florio con Eberhard & Co.

Tra meno di un mese, il 5 maggio c’è un anniversario speciale per chi ana le auto d’epoca costruite tra il 1906 e il 1970, il centesimo anniversario della Targa Florio.

Eberhard & Co is for the first time Official Time Keeper of Targa Florio and for 100° anniversary of the competition has made a .Special version of Champion V chronograph, but also Tazio Nuvolari Data will be remembered. From May 5th to 8th, other events will be held: within Targa FLorio Classic:  Targa Florio Rally, Targa Florio Historic Rally and Targa Florio Historic Speed this one will see many legend pilots with their old cars from Palermo to Gerda.

Baselworld 2016: Seiko

Lo scappamento a tourbillon è affascinante e visto il suo proliferare spesso abbiamo detto “se non hai in produzione almeno un tourbillon non sei nessuno”. Ebbene adesso anche Seiko ha proposto un Credor, in tiratura limitata, che al tourbillon affianca anche un bellissimo quadrante tridimensionale.

Valzer delle poltrone: Roger Dubuis

Veramente qui più che di valzer dovremmo scrivere che la poltrona si raddoppia. Infatti Marco Lazzaroni, già responsabile dal 2014 per l’Europa del Sud (Italia, Spagna, Portogallo, Grecia, Malta), dal 1° aprile è stato nominato Regional Brand Director, responsabile anche per l’Europa del Nord (Germania, Austria, Turchia e Paesi dell’Est). L’ufficio principale rimarrà presso il Gruppo Richemont a Milano. Auguri doppi dunque per questo doppio incarico.

Since April 1st Marco Lazzaroni, has been appointed Regional Brand Director for North and South Europe. Best wishes for a double work.

Qualcuno poteva pensare che dopo il 150° anniversario la Marca di Le Locle avrebbe tirato in remi in barca e in parte è stato così, ma quando si ha in Manifatura un movimento come il cronografo automatico El Primero, si può resistere alla tentazione di impiegarlo per orologi diciamo “dedicati”?.

La Marca parigina si è concentrata sugli Arceau e sugli Slim del 2015, con la cassa in acciaio ø 39 mm completata da quadranti di diversi colori, cento Slim d’Hermès Email hanno il quadrante in smalto Grand Feu entrando diritto nel campo dei mestieri d’arte.

Many Slim Hermès (ø 39 mm)  also with email dial, and Arceau. Artistic pocket watches; among jewellery Faubourg Manchettes quartz movement with coloured precious stones according to the bracelet. Swiss self winding movements.

Vacheron Constantin e il Maitre Cabinotier

È passato poco più di un anno dalla presentazione del supercomplicato 57260 che ha segnato il 260° anniversario della Marca ginevrina e due mesi dal SIHH 2016, ma le grandi novità di Vacheron Constantin non si fermano, anzi. Presentate lontano del Salone poi, acquistano ancor più risonanza.

One year ago Vacheron Constantin devoiled Ref.57260 for 260° Anniversary, now a unique piece made by the same watchmakers offers two of its original complications; four patent applications for Caliber 1990, manual winding developped and manufactured by Vacheron Constantin, double retrograde indication for hours and minutes and armillary tourbillon (two cages operating as a sphere perpetually rotating on two axes under a sapphire crystal dome at 9 o’clock). Maitre Cabinotier, with white gold case ø 45,7 mm, has Hallmark of Geneva.

Baselworld 2016: Breguet

Nati in Inghilterra nel XVII secolo gli orologi che fanno ascoltare un suono, videro competere molti orologiai: Barrow chiese al Re Carlo II il brevetto per essere l’unico a realizzarli (essendo anche stato il primo). Però anche Tompion e Quare fecero orologi analoghi e Quare ne presentò al Re Giacomo II uno talmente preciso che la richiesta di Barrow non fu accolta.

Watches with sonnerie were born during XVII Century in Great Britain; Barrow asked the King to be the only patented, but also Tompion and Quare made similar watches and the patent was not granted. In XVIII Century Breguet used metal wires coiled around the movement instead hammers strucking against casebacks. Today Breguet, having modified the structure, is ready to go on the market with Minute Repetear Tourbillon Tradition 7087; the reworked movement has six new patents and five innovative elements. Baselworld 2016 News

Il 24 marzo si è concluso l’appuntamento di Baselworld; queste le notizie ufficiali: oltre 1500 espositori da 40 nazioni, complessivamente 145 mila partecipanti tra espositori, rivenditori, visitatori.

Baselworld 2016 was closed yesterday, slightly less visitors, more journalist; a big success for Internet press conference on March 16th followed by 11.000 journalists in the world. Retailers’ sales on December were not good and on January there was a stop, while during February figures were a little bit better. Baselworld 2017 will be on March 23rd-30th and the year after from March 22nd to 29th.

Baselworld 2016: Rolex

Nei giornali il titolo è tutto perché “fa notizia”. Invece del serioso “Baselworld 2016: Rolex” forse sarebbe stato meglio scrivere “at last inox italian dream Daytona “.

Title of an article is very important, perharps here it would have been clever to choose one about new inox Rolex Cosmograph Daytona, but in our opinion Daytona has many interesting brothers, even if for many people it’s always a “dream”; we like Oyster Perpetual Datejust. In Baselworld there were many Rolex novelties, here some of them; about Oyster case, 90 years old, and classic Cellini we’ll write in a second time.
