Dopo la presentazione virtuale di Watches&Wonders, nello scorso aprile, il Gruppo Richemont quasi al completo (manca solo Van Cleef&Arpele) mostrerà le novità 2020 al West Bund Art Center di Shanghai, dove ci saranno anche Parmigiani Fleurier e Purnell. La scelta, per la prima volta, di Shanghai testimonia l’importanza dei mercati asiatici per l’orologeria.

After W&W online during last April, Richemont Group will bring its Brands (except Van Cleef&Arpels) to Shanghai from September 9th to 13th and there will be also Parmigiani Fleurier and Purnell..

Nell’ultimo week-end di Agosto si è svolta, sul Green ginevrino, la VII F.P.Journe Golf Cup organizzata con la partnership di Laurent Perrier; segnale inequivocabile per dire che, nonostante tutto, la vita continua. L’incontro sportivo è stato ha consentito anche di riproporre i modelli della LineSport collection visti nel maggio 1919 e presentare l’ultimo nato.

On August 30th Genève Green Vandoeuvres hosted F.P.Journe VII Golf Cup and in the meantime Brand has shown LineSport Collection last novelty, Automatic with a very light movement, unknown to many, Covid 19 had postponed many Expositions. A new IWC Concept boutique has been opened yesterday in Zurich, visitors may enter into the magic IWC Racing Team World or buy some special accessories. In the mean time we remember that from September 28th it’s possible to book a virtual voyage to Schaffhausen in order to visit the firm and its Museum.

Dovevamo vederli a Baselworld 2020 (ma il Covid19 ha rivoluzionato il mondo) o forse da Watches&Wonders (ma Rolex è abituato a fare da sé e non ha aderito nemmeno a Geneva Watches Days), infatti la data scelta è stata il 1° Settembre.

Because of Covid19 we couldn’t see Rolex novelties at Baselworld 2020, the Brand chose to unveil them on September 1st. New cases and new colors for Submariner, Oyster Perpetual; new bracelets and new movements, caliber 2330 and 2335; finally a brightly Date Just 31 with a new aubergine dial color. .

Un minigiallo “behind the scene”, come si direbbe oggi; in effetti il nome dato alla più recente realizzazione che vede insieme Swiza e MB&Friends (Trinity), aveva fatto squillare un campanello (e non per un qualcosa da poco”) nella nostra memoria. Così la comunicazione arrivata ieri nelle mail non ci ha colto di sorpresa.

Geneva Watch Days, le giornate ginevrine orologiere si sono chiuse ieri, troppo presto per tirare le somme di questo exploit promosso da Bvlgari e da altre 16 Marche (ma forse ce ne sono state anche di più) però in Internet si sono già lette le prime critiche.
