A tutt’oggi non sembra ci siano state risposte da Baselworld alle decisioni ginevrine in merito a Watches&Wonders, mentre arrivano notizie confortanti sulle presenze all’edizione del prossimo anno.
Baselworld has not answered to Watches&Wonders date in Geneva but there are other good news about independent Brands in Fair (unfortunately no similar good news about hotels prices).

Today Solden hosts FIS World Cup 2019-2020 Alpine Lady Giant and Longines unveiled two Conquest V.H.P. chronograph, for gent (ø41 mm) and for ladies (ø 36 mm) with mother pearl dial and diamond realized with Mikaela Shiffrin, both have quartz movement (+-5 s/yr). Longines will award at the end of this season best skiers of World Cup (ladies under 21 and male under 23) giving to winners a watch, a trophy and a cheque.

On October 21st an Eberhard chronograph has been auctioned at Bolaffi auction reaching 156.000 Euro, four years ago another version at Meeting Art was sold for 56.000 Euro. This chronograph called Magini System was on an Italian airplane during the II World War and thank to its precision the fly from Italy to Tokyo with two stop, one in China, was successful.

At Baselworld 2019 Watch Incubator there was also Raketa, even if this Brand was founded in 1961 when in Italy Russian watches (thanks to Artime and Margaritelli) were in pole position.
