Poco prima di Baselworld 2011 la stampa italiana fu invitata a Parigi per la presentazione dei Chromatic; nel programma era compresa anche una visita all’appartamento privato di M.lle Cocò, in rue Cambon 31, rimasto così come lei lo aveva voluto.

Eight years ago, for Chanel Chromatic Watches launch, italian journalists were invited and could visit in Paris also Coco Chanel’s “Buen Retiro”; I made many pictures after having promised I would have never published; now Chanel Métiers d’Art Show in Paris, on December 4th at Grand Palais, reminded me that fine journey.

Ai miei tempi per i bambini Ezechiele Lupo era il massimo dei cattivi (i tre porcellini però o almeno uno tra loro riuscivano sempre a prevalere) comunque l’immagine, per quanto con i dentoni fuori, non era poi così spaventosa.

Today Grand Seiko in a limited edition remembers 20 years of Spring Drive and 65 years of first movie where monster destroyed Wako Tower in Tokyo, painting it on watch case back.

Quanti quadranti blu

Accanto al classico silver o black, quest’anno si sono affermati di prepotenza i quadranti blu, un colore sempre attuale, ma che adesso fa tendenza.

Silver or black dials are always classic, but since sometime blue is the preferred color for novelties by Vacheron Constantin, Eberhard & Co, Maurice Lacroix.

Nel mondo sono 330 le vetrine che, nel periodo festivo di fine anno, la Maison romana, ha approntato scegliendo come tema il backstage dei film, completato da effetti speciali come le famose boule de neige che si scuotono per riversare una cascata di fiocchi di neve su gioielli e orologi presentando anche la magìa del palazzo di via Condotti.

Bvlgari for the end of the year has studied 330 show-windows in its flagship store with backstage atmosphere; a giant Serpent Seduttori in pole position and Led installations on most important boutique (from London to Ginza Tower in Tokyo), while here we are publishing some gifts to be chosen or, for many people, some dreams…

Ancora una volta Richard Mille realizza un orologio dedicato a uno dei suoi ambasciatori, Roberto Mancini, soprannominato Mancio. Dopo l’RM-11-01 del 2013 ecco l’RM-11-04

Once more Richard Mille has realized a watch for Roberto Mancini (Mancio), one of his ambassador: a blue fly-back and annual calendar chronograph (but with the color of the case it’s also easy to think about Inter (International F.C.).

Omega per James Bond

La celebre spia inglese, nata dalla fantasia di Fleming, è stata dotata di un Omega Seamaster nel film Golden Eye del 1995.

Fleming’s idea of a British spy was sucesful in many movies. Pierce Brosnan-James Bond worn an Omega for the first time in “Golden Eye”(1995) and got it fo other times till 2002, before James Craig’s arrival in 2006. Today Omega has realized a special limited version of 257 set with two watches, one in steel and one in gold, tribute to James Bond’s 50°anniversary movie of 1969.

Nuvolari Legend: the Brown Helmet

La collezione dedicata da Eberhard&Co. al grande pilota mantovano, si arricchisce di una nuova versione: il cronografo automatico con cassa in acciaio ø 43 mm ha un quadrante color cuoio anticato e un cinturino cromaticamente coordinato.

Eberhard&Co Nuvolari collection has a new chronograph, “The Brown Helmet” remembering soft helmet worn by Nuvolari in order to avoid a part of car’s noises, but also like a talisman; same color also for the strap.

Dresda ladri all’opera

All’alba di oggi nella celebre Gruene Zimmer del Castello di Dresca sono stati rubati gioielli antichi di enorme valore che facevano parte del tesoro di Stato (bottino da 1 miliardo di Euro). Uno dei diamanti di maggior valore è scampato al furto essendo in mostra a New York e non sembrano aver tentato i ladri né I dipinti né gli orologi antichi, evidentemente troppo ingombranti per essere trafugati; inoltre le collezioni di rari orologi antichi sono custodite nel Mathematisch Phisikatischer Salon.

Today in Dresden Castel thieves have robbed the most part of ancient jewelry collections, not paintings and ancient clocks too heavy to carry out.

Il Duomo e Leonardo

Per la seconda volta Eberhard & Co. è vicina alla Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo; dopo la presentazione del Quadrifoglio Verde (14.5.2019) con altri partner, ha dato il suo sostegno alla Mostra “Il Duomo al tempo di Leonardo” e partecipa al progetto di digitalizzazione di storici documenti dell’archivio della Fabbrica.

Exhibition “Il Duomo al tempo di Leonardo”, from today to February 23rd, organized by Veneranda Fabbrica del Duomo di Milano, has many partners, among them also Eberhard & Co. Press conference has been hosted in S.Gottardo, first Church in Milano to have, since XIV Century, a public clock with no dial, but with a bell playing 24 hours.
