Oggi, 29 maggio, per Michel Parmigiani e per Parmigiani Fleurier è una data importante: il 29 maggio 1996 al Beau Rivage Palace di Losanna nasceva l’azienda di Fleurier, presentata a giornalisti e amici da Michel Parmigiani e Pierre Landolt.

20 years ago on May 29th, in Lausanne when Michel Parmigiani and Pierre Landolt shaked their hands during a press conference the new Brand Parmigiani Fleurier was born.was born. In a few years firm enlarged becoming a “watch polo” and now Parmigiani Fleurie has 33 in house nade movements. Chronor Anniversaire is the first integrated chronograph fly-back made in house. Nella boutique Breguet a Milano abbiamo ammirato la riedizione in platino di uno dei primissimi Breguet: il n°5.

We saw in Montenapoleone Breguet’s n°5 new edition (5 with gold case and 5 platinum). Maîtres horlogers worked on this Perpetual Pocket Watch quarter repetear à toc, phase and age of the moon, for more than one year. Below, n°5 history and also original Breguet n°5 (with movement) sold by Habsburg Auction in 1991.

Un bel colpo quello effettuato da Citizen, che ha acquistato Frederique Constant e i marchi collegati. Non è la prima volta che dall’Asia importanti aziende fanno shopping nella Confederazione.

Citizen bought Frederque Constant and its Brands. Asian watch firms were always interested in Europe Brands. First to be sold was Gerald Genta; italian Veglia was bought just by Citizen at the end of last Century, Japan firm has made ineresting movements, so good work to both.

La mostra organizzata a metà maggio nel suggestivo museo Marino Marini, non è stata solo una completa rassegna di orologi e strumenti Panerai nei periodi 1936/97 e 1998/2016, è stata anche una passerella di novità importanti, quasi un Salone d’alta orologeria che da Ginevra si è spostato a Firenze.

Exhibition Panerai watches and instruments since 1936 till 2016 has been also a catwalk of new interesting movements and models, almost a SIHH leaving Geneva for Florence. A new case for Luminor Due, new movements and, first of all, Panerai Minute Repetear Carillon. A special Radiomir is a tribute to Florence.

Nel secondo week end di maggio le imbarcazioni che stanno regatando per le Louis Vuitton America’s Cup World Series hanno dato vita a un grande spettacolo nelle acque di New York sullo sfondo dei grattacieli.

Abbiamo già pubblicato che Girard-Perregaux torna a Ginevra e che al SIHH 2017 ci sarà anche Ulysse Nardin, entrambi Marchi del Gruppo Kering. Adesso il Salone comunica ufficialmente anche nuovi nomi di maestri indipendenti.

A few days ago we published that Girard-Perregaux and Ulysse Nardin will attend next SIHH in Geneva, now an official press release inform us that also 5 independent Maitres Horlogers will be hosted in Carré des Horlogers: Grönefeld, MCT Manufacture Contemporaine du Temps, Ressence, RJ Romain Jerome and Speake-Marin. Exhibition will be opened to public during one day; no news for the moment when and ticket price.
